VRA AGM and April CPD Webinar

 

The VRA AGM is taking place at midday on Thursday 11th April as part of an extended session for our monthly CPD webinar. An update on the VRA’s activities will be given and elections held for trustees. Reserve your place here

 

We are very keen to invite you, as a member of our community, to take an active role with your organisation, either as a VRA champion or trustee. We have a number of current members who volunteer as VRA champions, to get involved in an area of activities such as helping with the events, writing the VRA newsletter and running webinars. At the VRA, our Trustees play a key role in supporting the organisation. An application for election as a Trustee of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association, and more information about being a trustee can be found below. You can also see a short video from a previous Chair Chris Parker about her experience as a VRA trustee. Please note that the deadline for receipt of completed nominations is midday on Thursday 28th March 2024.

The process for the elections is as follows:-

 

  1. The membership will be treated as those members registered and duly paid up on Thursday 28th March 2024.
  2. Only members of the VRA are eligible to be nominated to stand for election as
  3. Each nominee must have a supporter who is also a member of the
  4. Nominations must be submitted by midday on Thursday 28th March 2024, by email, using the application
  5. Details of nominees will be circulated to members following this cut-off
  6. Members will be able to vote during the webinar at the AGM on 28 March or may submit proxy votes up to 5pm on Wednesday 27th March. Members will be notified of the process for submitting proxy votes when the nominations are circulated.
