In this session for World Sight Day for our Irish Network hosted RNIB who covered the RNIB employment services available in Northern Ireland.
Some great RNIB resources including lots of great free to access resources available to everyone regardless of location. We also looked briefly at some of the facts and figures related to sight loss and employment and some of the barriers to employment.
Our speaker
Nigel Townley is the Employment Manager Northern Ireland – The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). He has over 20 years of experience working for RNIB’s employment service supporting blind and partially sighted people to gain, retain and sustain employment.
