Stress is an ever-present challenge in the workplace and beyond. This webinar explored the primary causes of work-related stress and provided actionable strategies to help manage it more effectively.

As vocational rehabilitation professionals, we often face situations where individuals struggle to access or sustain employment—circumstances that can be incredibly stressful for all involved.

In this engaging session, Chartered Occupational Psychologist Sharon Patmore guided us through:

  • Refreshing our understanding of stress and coping mechanisms.
  • Evaluating how New Year’s resolutions may unintentionally add to stress.
  • Practical tips for setting realistic goals to start the new year with clarity and balance.

Speaker Bio:
Sharon Patmore is a Chartered Occupational Psychologist with nearly 30 years of experience supporting individuals with diverse health and disability challenges, including mental health. A Fellow of the British Psychological Society and a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council, Sharon is also a Trustee of the Vocational Rehabilitation Association. She has worked across public, private, and charitable sectors, bringing invaluable expertise to the workplace.
