Our speaker: Stuart Miller, Employability Skills Specialist/Director at SDM Training Services
Having served in the Royal Engineers and then HM Prison Service, Stuart has experience of working in roles and environments that offer unique challenges. He also worked for RBLI delivering their highly successful LifeWorks employability course to veterans and the families of serving personnel. These experiences gave him a great understanding of the impact that their careers and transition can have on veterans and their families. With knowledge of the military environments and roles, he helps them to identify their transferrable skills and overcome barriers that can prevent them from moving forward. By staying up to date with the vast range of organisations working in the military community, he can signpost towards support, training and funding that is specific to military veterans.
