EVENT DESCRIPTION

Using Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS) funding an Occupational Therapy led service has been developed to provide Vocational Rehabilitation support within Primary Care Networks (PCN) in Wakefield, to support those in work and struggling, or off work sick due to a health condition who are contacting their GPs for ongoing fit note provision. This presentation will discuss the impact that early Vocational Rehabilitation intervention has had on work retention and its overall effectiveness within the PCN using case studies and evidence based practice and research.
