But in the real world, translating that into meaningful, evidence‑based practice across acute, inpatient and community settings can feel complex, fragmented, or constrained by the environment you’re working in.
This session cuts through that.
Join Lorna Neave, one of the UK’s leading neurological OTs specialising in traumatic and acquired brain injury, for a practical, case‑based webinar that shows exactly how to use activity analysis to understand work roles, tasks and duties, and how to creatively simulate them in any setting.
Whether you’re supporting someone in an acute stroke unit, a major trauma centre, inpatient neurorehab, or community VR, this session will give you tools you can use the very next day.
Using a real case study, Lorna will demonstrate how to:
This is a session grounded in real practice, real complexity, and real outcomes.
If work is part of your caseload, this session is built for you.
Lorna brings extensive experience across traumatic and acquired neurological conditions, with a specialist interest in traumatic brain injury. Her career spans acute stroke units, neuroscience and major trauma centres, inpatient neurorehabilitation and community neurorehab teams.
She currently works as a Band 8a Clinical Lead OT for Neuro & Trauma at a London Major Trauma Centre, alongside her private practice supporting adults with brain injuries through community vocational rehabilitation. Lorna also works as an expert witness, provides clinical supervision, delivers training, and has guest‑lectured widely.
Her passion lies in occupational therapy’s unique ability to use activity analysis creatively, mimicking work settings and demands to support safe, meaningful and sustainable return‑to‑work outcomes.
This isn’t a theoretical lecture. It’s a rare opportunity to learn directly from a clinician who has spent her career navigating the realities of neurorehabilitation and vocational rehabilitation across the entire pathway, from acute trauma to community return‑to‑work.
