Worker – Occupational Therapist/ Psychologist/ Nurse

HCML, Birmingham and Midlands
Salary: Rate dependent on experience (typical£16 - £24 per hour)

Hours: Full Time
Status: Zero hours

HCML was established in 2003 and is a leading service provider in the rehabilitation and case management arena. Providing services to the insurance, corporate and legal sectors, HCML assists injured and ill individuals to recover and return to work or their pre-injury condition. We are passionate about ensuring that everyone who requires rehabilitation in the UK has access to quality, effective, co-ordinated services. We deliver added value to our clients by facilitating both speedy recovery and strong clinical outcomes, including managing appropriate treatment and care.

Our services are delivered in-person, remotely via video or telephonically, thus being a great fit around busy schedules. The complexity of our services ranges from assisting employers with employees who are struggling at work but who haven’t been absent, right the way through to life changing circumstances and assessing capability (or disability) to work within the role or business.

Rehabilitation Case Managers are clinicians with a background in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Rehabilitation Therapies, or similar disciplines. The work we provide ICMs is typically ad hoc in nature, though where more regular patterns are determined, we have the opportunity to explore flexible hour contracts to ensure IR-35 compliance. Until that point, ICMs must be Limited Company registered, have the right to work in the UK, and undergo HCML interview and training procedures ahead of receiving work from us.

The day-to-day requirements of an ICM include: first-class clinical assessment of customer employees (relating to absence, or absence prevention), report writing, stakeholder management (including pre and post assessment discussions of needs), and post-assessment case management. Clinical signposting and recommendations are key requirement of the clinicians that we work with, whilst all reports will be quality assured to ensure service standards are upheld.

We pay competitive rates that work out to approximately £180/day on average, with contract rates reduces to account for the advantages and security that employment provides.
