The student membership is aimed at individuals who have not yet worked in VR at a professional level, with limited or no experience in the field and limited income as a result of VR related studies OR have up to 1 years post qualifying experience.

Affiliate membership is for those who have an interest in or are professionally involved in vocational rehabilitation but do not qualify for either professional or associate membership. Affiliate members are not endorsed by the VRA to deliver VR services.

Applicants are required to hold 2-4 years experience as a practitioner or as a facilitator of vocational rehabilitation provision support or services or be currently within a role that will provide this but lack the 4 years experience or a qualification required for the professional membership.

Applicants are required to hold at least 4 years relevant experience as a practitioner or as a facilitator of vocational rehabilitation provision, support or services OR be qualified to degree level or equivalent in a VR related course (eg CDMP, rehabilitation counsellor, healthcare degree, HR or Level 5 CIPD).
