At the VRA we are keen to support students who are interested in vocational rehabilitation to learn more about the industry.  As part of this we are offering one student a free place at our event ‘How do we fix workplace health and return to work?’ which is being held in conjunction with the Society of Occupational Medicine and the British Psychological Society.

The event takes place on 5th May at BT Centre in London and has a great line up of speakers including Professor Kim Burton and Dr Steve Boorman. You can find the programme and other information here.

The free place is open to all student members of the VRA. Student membership is free and is aimed at individuals who are have not yet worked in VR at a professional level, have little or no experience in the field and limited income as a result of VR related studies. Find out more here.

We’ll be asking the selected student to write an article about an aspect of vocational rehabilitation that interests them.  This will be published on the VRA website and featured in our newsletter. We’ll agree the length and deadline with the selected applicant.

To apply for the place please complete this form and email it to us at enquiries@vrassociation.org.uk using the subject line ‘student conference application’.  Please contact us if you have any queries.
