LIVE EVENT: Returning to a Different Work Role Following an Acquired Brain Injury
Join Dr. Nisha Chauhan for an Insightful Discussion on Work, Identity & Rehabilitation
The ability to work plays a significant role in shaping our identity and place in the world. But what happens when an acquired brain injury (ABI) forces a career shift? While much research has focused on returning to the same job post-injury, little has explored the challenges and experiences of those who must transition into different roles.
In this compelling session, Dr. Nisha Chauhan, Clinical Psychologist at the University of Hertfordshire, presents her latest research on this under-explored area. She will discuss the psychological, social, and political factors influencing return-to-work experiences and share key clinical recommendations to support individuals navigating these transitions.
