This hour-long free VRA webinar will introduce the science of sleep, what sleep is, how it works and how sleep changes as we age – empowering participants with knowledge and understanding of this often neglected area of health promotion.
The workshop will then provide participants with some strategies to improve their clients’ sleep and mental health as a result. Participants will be able to identify routines that are best suited to individuals and also behaviours that they might engage in that could be impacting negatively on their sleep– equipping them with both the tools to recognise a sleep problem and what to do about it. The course provides evidence-based strategies to improve sleep experience, mental health, quality of life and day to day functioning.
