EVENT DESCRIPTION

Please note timezone, this webinar is being run by the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors – the recording from this webinar will be made available to all registrants.
Through advocating, Vocational Rehabilitation Practitioners can play a crucial role in improving the quality and outcomes of care and/or services provided to their clients. Whilst working within multi-disciplinary teams and addressing employer/insurer concerns, it is important that the recommendations and expertise of practitioners are conveyed with confidence.
Join us to discover the three key ingredients to communicating with confidence in any scenario, how to deal with push-back in conversations and vocal tricks to sound competent and credible. There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with the facilitator Sally Prosser.
Sally Prosser is a voice and public speaking coach with a background in TV news reporting and PR – acting as spokesperson for one of Australia’s largest water companies. She works with top journalists and broadcasters, as well as executives and business owners and holds degrees in journalism and law from the University of Wollongong.
